This spot is located on the beach of Mastichari, just after the sun-beds and umbrellas. It is one of the oldest spots on the island and is managed by Joe and Stefan (Kitesurfing Kos). A lot of clients book directly through kiteworldwide, so it is highly recommended that you contact the center in advance for lessons or rental. The team also manages a spot in Marmari, for more experienced riders.
The prevailing wind in the summer is north-northwest and side shore, but there is usually a west thermal wind in the afternoon which is onshore. The wind is not always strong, so you will mostly see big kites or foils. When the wind is on shore, beginners are dropped deeper out in the sea, where the wind is slightly stronger.
